Nice motel and staff
The room was clean. We ate at the Jailhouse dinning hall. The service was excellent and so was the food. We were seated right away in a jail cell. Drinks were brought right away. The steaks were cooked to everyone's taste. The server that we had was one of the best we've had. If you ever stop there, hopefully Lori will be the server that takes care of you
White Pine County Fair and Horse Races
The Jailhouse has always been a go to hotel for us. This time we stayed in a part of the hotel that we had never stayed in. It was a little tired and old and could use an update. Otherwise it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We love eating at the Jailhouse restaurant the food has always been consistant for years. Would stay there again
Nice place with excellent food
Highly recommend this place. Clean rooms, excellent food and Darlene that works at the front desk was great. Very professional and pleasant. Slots were fun and paid enough to make it worth while. Actually everyone that works there was very professional and welcoming.
Great place for a steak dinner
We had dinner here. The food and service were outstanding. We ordered the prime rib special. It was a lot of food for a great price. This steakhouse does not open until 5:00 pm. The atmosphere was fun. Our table was in a jail cell. Not all of the tables are in a cell. They also have open seating in the dining room
Wonderful place worthy of a return visit!!
My mom and I recently took a trip up to Idaho to see family and friends. Drove into Ely, Nevada late at night. Found a room at the Jailhouse after another hotel couldn't help us with one. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice and clean and it was affordable. Our way home found us once again in Ely and we didn't hesitate to make our way back to the Jailhouse. While brief, we enjoyed our time there. We were able to rest and relax before going on our way. Will make sure to return here for any future visits!
Very nice and climatic motel on highway 50
Very nice motel on Highway 50. We stopped there overnight en route from California to Utah. The motel is bit old (though it is climatic because of that), but very well managed. Our room was very clean and spacious, The personnel was very helpful and professional. The city of Ely in which the motel is located is also a very nice place to visit. There is a very good stake house next to the motel.
Great place
I loved this place. Every single member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and well appointed. And the price was right. I'd definitely stay here again.
